Silk Care

Silk is a deceivingly strong fibre that will last you a lifetime. That said, it takes a special tender love and care to keep it in its prime condition. As our care labels say, dryclean is the best way to preserve your silk.

To store your silk, hanging is a great way to keep the wrinkles away. To hang your garments make sure you use silk sensitive clips. This can include velvet clips that won’t pierce the fabric. Silk can also be stored in a breathable garment bag.

If and when your silk gets wrinkly DO NOT iron it. Silk can be steamed but do not apply direct heat.
